From revenue to the email budget
$50,000 of revenue a month at 8% to marketing is $4,000; 25% of that to email is $1,000 a month and $12,000 a year, on the worked example. Both shares are inputs because they are the business's decision and the sheet does not make it.
Per contact and per campaign
$1,000 over 5,000 contacts is 20 cents a contact; over four campaigns is $250 a campaign. Set the per-campaign figure beside the cost sheet's $129.75 and the budget has room or it does not.
The budget as a ceiling
